ENVIRONMENT
The Distillery is located at the foot of the Southern Alps, relying on the blessings of abundant nature and looking towards Mt. Fuji. Moreover, water can be said to be the “soul” of whisky. As filtered through porous volcanic rock, it is perfect for dilution when creating blended whiskies. Operating in this bountiful natural environment, The Distillery will be a sustainable enterprise in harmony with nature.
HOW TO DRINK
It is the composition of each unprocessed whisky blended with a number of different malt & grain whiskies that creates our best harmony.
Kenji Watanabe: a name best-known throughout the Japanese whisky and currently the master blender for a number of other brands.
He bases his philosophy on never losing focus and fully leveraging his past experience in creating whiskies, and so The Mikuni has developed its distinctive, rich flavor.
